Overview

Common immune condition that affects skin and joints. It affects 2% of the population. It tends to develop in adults 15- 30 years of age. It can be mild to severe in nature. The immune response causes skin cells to be produced at a faster rate. As a result skin plaques form. There is a silvery scales on the plaque. Lesions can develop on the soles of the feet. 

Signs & Symptoms

  • Swollen stiff joints
  • Dry, cracked skin with pin point bleeding
  • Thickened nails
  • Patches of scaling spots
