Dr. Crawford has been with the Ankle & Foot Clinic of Everett since 1990. She is currently president elect of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and will be the first female president of this prestigious organization in March 2009!
Her specialty is reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. She is highly qualified to treat all foot and ankle disorders and particularly enjoys treating bunion deformities, achilles tendon disorders, complex lower extremity dermatology, ankle instability, flatfoot and pediatric foot conditions. She is also trained in the Ponseti method of clubfoot correction.
Dr. Crawford received her early education in her home state of New York attending Wells College. She then attended the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine and graduated in 1988. She received her advanced reconstructive surgery training at the Northwest Podiatric Surgical Residency Program at Fifth Avenue Medical Center in Seattle, andgraduated in1990.
She is a national and internationally recognized speaker on foot and ankle surgery and has co-authored two major medical-surgical textbooks: Color Atlas of Foot and Ankle Dermatology and Lower Extremity Soft Tissue & Cutaneous Plastic Surgery as well as numerous other journal publications.
Dr. Crawford is Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and has medical staff appointments at Providence Regional Medical Center-Everett and Swedish Medical Center in Seattle.
She is past Residency Program Director of the Northwest Podiatric Surgical Residency Program at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle and current Director of International Affairs for the Northwest Podiatric Foundation for Education and Research.
Dr. Crawford's passions are traveling with her husband (particularly to Italy), golfing, hiking and morning walks with her dog.
