Dr. Cherie H. Johnson
Dr. Johnson joined the Ankle & Foot Clinic of Everett in 1998 and is a specialist in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. She is highly qualified to treat all foot and ankle disorders and particularly enjoys treating bunion deformities, ankle injuries, and flat feet. She has experience in revision and complex reconstructive surgery.
She received her early education in her home state of California. She obtained a bachelors degree in kinesiology from UCLA in 1991, and graduated first in her class from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1995.
Her postgraduate training included a three-year residency in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at Swedish Podiatric Surgical Residency Program in Seattle (1995-1998), followed by an AO Fellowship at the Landeskrankenhaus Feldkirch in Austria in 1998.
Dr. Johnson is Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is appointed to the medical staff at Providence Regional Medical Center-Everett and Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. She is the Past Residency Program Director of the Swedish Podiatric Surgical Residency program at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle and currently on the Board of Directors for The International Foot & Ankle Foundation for Education and Research.
She has published a number of papers and book chapters on foot surgery and has received awards for her research and publications. She lectures locally and nationally on current podiatric subjects.
Dr. Johnson shares her personal time with her husband and three children. She enjoys home remodeling and construction and scrapbooking.
